The Live Map view renders critical information about the current location of one or more asset(s). It provides a quick overview like if the asset is moving or stopped, current GPS Position, if the device is reporting correctly or is suspect. The “Choose Assets” button utilizes a tree view selection that allows to view a single, multiple or group of assets.

The Live Map and Trip History are two key items that provide the ongoing statistics for a vehicle. The Live Map view allows you to track your assets and vehicles wherever they are located worldwide. The trip history is essentially a historical view of all the trips made by a vehicle (where a trip is the driving between ignition start and stop, or defined by excessive idling threshold). In terms of layout and screen functions it is similar to the Live Map. However, it will provide the full view of all the trips conducted by the vehicle within the selected date criteria. The selection criteria are exhaustive with simple options like last day, one week and a selection of dates. The users like in the Live Map will be able to select single, multiple or group of vehicles and resize grid panel together with map panel on the fly. Selection can be done by Drivers or Zones as well.

The ‘Trip History’ feature shows the historical activity of one or more vehicles at a time. It details essential elements like engine on time, driving time, stopped time, km(s) travelled and destination address.

02. Analyse Safety Scorecards

Driver Management is one of the key features native to Naveo One platform. The platform allows for creation of drivers, creation of rules based on drivers to monitor driver performance among others. The system integrates a strong driver ID function that is powered by a driver key (Dallas ID token) to keep track of trips ownership.

The driver scorecard report will reveal poor driving habits such as harsh braking or excessive idling and the management of these events will considerably reduce overall vehicle costs.

03. Receive real time alerts

Naveo One is equipped with a powerful wizard based rules and exception engine. The engine, coupled with zones and assets selection, provides for a strong exception based management reporting which is critical in managing critical operations in a timely manner. Users will be able to create a multitude of custom rules in addition to numerous existing rules defined within the system.

Critical alerts such as speeding, idling, excessive stoppage, zones not visited, zones visited etc. are all powered by the rules defined in this engine. Once generated, the alerts are automatically routed towards predefined recipients via email, SMS or push notifications.

04. Record and analyse total operating costs per asset

The asset maintenance functionality of the Naveo One Platform provides extensive features for managing the vehicles and other aspects. The module allows the users to record and report all maintenance activities conducted on the asset.

The maintenance module also allows the users to record financial transactions against the maintenance records. For example, the cost of brake pads used in vehicle servicing can be recorded against the said vehicle. You can go further by setting alerts for a spare part item being used more than a threshold frequency during a particular time period or mileage.

05. Plan jobs and monitor their completion

Naveo One Web Platform boasts an intelligent Transport Request module, whereby departure zone, via-points and destination zone for a particular trip can be input together with trip date, trip start time, trip end time etc. From there, the business logic inbuilt in the solution will identify which vehicle depending on availability, proximity etc. to allocate to the requested trip. The user is then able to save the request for approval or schedule the trip right away if he/she has approver rights.

06. Draw your own zones & add custom layers

Users can define their own perimeters that will allow them to manage productivity by monitoring critical elements such as time in, time out, not visited based on schedule, etc.

For example, if assets are being used at night without proper authorization, alerts can be triggered based on the asset leaving parking zones and corrective actions can be readily implemented.

Alternatively, customers who have digital layers of their custom data can add these to the existing maps so as to have a clearer picture of their activities and make comparisons.

07. Fuel Management

The fuel management module analyses fuel purchased v/s consumed. Fuel consumed is based on average kms per litre per vehicle, kms driven and fuel purchased. A large % difference between purchased and consumed fuel can indicate fuel abuse or may indicate that vehicle engine maintenance is required.
